NDIS Support
If you or someone you care for is an NDIS participant, you may be able to use your plan to buy mobility and daily living equipment from us. Here is exactly how that works, and what we can and cannot do.
Please note: we are not a registered NDIS provider
We support self-managed and plan-managed participants. If your plan is NDIA-managed (agency-managed), you can only purchase from registered providers, so unfortunately we cannot supply you directly. Your plan type is shown in your plan documents or in the myplace portal.
How to buy with your NDIS plan
If you are self-managed
- Choose your product and order through the website as normal, or call us and we will place the order for you.
- Pay at checkout.
- We email you a tax invoice with the product description, model number and price.
- Claim the invoice through the myplace portal for reimbursement.
If you are plan-managed
- Tell us which product you want and give us your plan manager's contact details.
- We send a formal quote to you and your plan manager.
- Once your plan manager approves, we invoice them directly and arrange delivery.
- You do not pay anything out of pocket.
What we can send your OT or plan manager
Most assistive technology claims need supporting paperwork. Email us the model you are considering and we will send back, usually within one business day:
- A formal written quote, valid for 30 days
- A full specification sheet — dimensions, weights, seat width, capacity, range, charging
- Delivery timeframe and delivery method for your postcode
- Warranty terms in writing
Products that participants commonly claim
Whether an item is claimable depends on your plan's approved categories and your assessment — always check with your support coordinator or OT first. Participants commonly use their plans for:
- Manual and electric wheelchairs
- Rollators, walkers and knee scooters
- Transfer and lift chairs
- Adjustable beds and pressure-care mattresses
- Mobility scooters — please read the note below first
- Bathroom safety and daily living aids
A straight answer about mobility scooters
Footpath use of a motorised wheelchair without registration is subject to state rules, and those rules set limits on more than just speed. Our four-wheel scooters are factory-limited to 10 km/h, but the four-wheel range is built for private property, rural blocks, retirement villages and gated communities rather than as a registered footpath device.
If you are buying specifically for public footpath use, or you need an occupational therapist to support the claim, call us first on 1300 674 395. We will tell you plainly which models suit and which do not, and send the specification sheet your OT needs.
Try before you claim
Occupational therapists generally will not sign off on equipment the participant has not sat in. You are welcome to view and try products at our Sydney location — book a time here, or call us and we will arrange it.

This page is general information about how to purchase from us using an NDIS plan. It is not advice about your plan or your eligibility. Whether a particular item can be funded is decided by the NDIA and your plan, not by us. Speak to your support coordinator, plan manager or occupational therapist before ordering.
