The Hbada T8 Max is a smart ergonomic office chair for people who spend long days at a desk. Its AI lumbar support reads your posture and follows your lower back on its own, a keel-style backrest supports six zones of your back at once, a ventilated seat keeps you cool, and an electric footrest folds out from under the seat when you want to recline. The powered functions run from a removable rechargeable battery, so there is no cable running to your desk.
At a glance
- AI dynamic lumbar support: radar and posture sensors track your back and move the lumbar support to match, with no manual adjustment
- Keel-style backrest with 3 rigid spines and 10 bionic flex panels for continuous, gap-free support across six zones
- 20 adjustment points, including integrated lumbar, back and neck height, seat depth, a 4D headrest and armrests that move with the backrest
- Ventilated seat with a three-speed fan (up to 4,000 rpm), zoned airflow and automatic shut-off when you stand up
- Three-level spinal stretch function and a sedentary reminder
- Integrated electric footrest that retracts under the seat, tested to 100,000 cycles
- Reclines to 152° with five lockable positions; the armrests and seat move with you as you lean back
- Danish Gabriel Atlantic seat fabric, a five-layer zoned foam cushion, class 4 gas lift and an aluminium alloy five-star base
- Suits users 150–195 cm tall, rated to 136 kg

- Available in Black and White
Key features
Lumbar support that follows you
Millimetre-wave radar and posture sensors in the backrest detect where your lower back is and how hard you are leaning. The lumbar support then moves to match, whether you sit upright, lean forward to type or recline to read. There is no knob to turn and nothing to remember.
Six-zone keel backrest
Three rigid spines carry ten flexible bionic panels that bend independently. As you change position the panels keep contact with your lumbar, mid-back, shoulders and neck at the same time, so no part of your back is left hanging in space during a long session.
Twenty ways to adjust
Lumbar, back and neck height move together as one unit. Seat depth adjusts to your leg length (46 cm ± 1 cm). The headrest adjusts for height, depth and tilt. The 4D armrests are linked to the backrest so they stay under your forearms as you recline, and the seat slides inward at the same time to keep you supported. The backrest reclines to 152° and locks at 105°, 115°, 125°, 135° or 152°.
Ventilated seat
A centrifugal fan and directional air guides move air through the seat and lower backrest in separate zones. Three fan speeds go up to 4,000 rpm, and the system switches itself off when you leave the chair.
Stretch and reminders
A three-level spinal stretch function gently extends your back during breaks, and a sedentary reminder prompts you to move after you have been sitting for too long.
Electric footrest
The footrest is built into the chair and stores under the seat. It extends at 6.7 mm per second at the press of a button and has passed a 100,000-cycle fatigue test.
Materials
The seat is upholstered in Gabriel Atlantic fabric from Denmark, which resists water, oil and stains while staying breathable. Underneath is a five-layer cushion of high-density zoned foam and hydrophilic memory foam that relieves pressure where you need it. The armrest pads are high-strength engineering PU, the gas lift is class 4 and the five-star base is aluminium alloy.
Battery powered
The lumbar drive, ventilation and electric footrest run from a removable rechargeable battery pack, so the chair moves freely and there is no cable to your desk.

Warranty
The Hbada T8 Max comes with a 12-month warranty from Urban Culture Homes covering manufacturing faults. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If the chair is faulty, damaged or not as described, we arrange and pay for its return. These rights are not limited to any returns window.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns are different from faults and are subject to our Returns and Refunds Policy. The chair must come back in its original carton, so please keep the packaging until you are certain you are keeping it. Nothing in our policy limits any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to adjust the lumbar support myself?
No. The sensors in the backrest detect your posture and the lumbar support moves to match. You can still fine-tune the overall height of the lumbar, back and neck unit.
Can I turn the seat fan off?
Yes. It has two speeds and off, and it switches itself off automatically when you get up.
Does the footrest come off?
The footrest is built in. When you do not need it, it retracts fully under the seat and is out of the way.
What is the weight limit?
136 kg, as listed by Hbada. Please do not order the chair for a user above this limit.
Does it need to be plugged in?
No. The lumbar drive, fan and footrest run from a removable rechargeable battery pack. Charge it with the charger and put it back in the chair.
How far does it recline?
To 152°, with lock positions at 105°, 115°, 125°, 135° and 152°. The built-in footrest and linked armrests let you lie back for a midday rest.
Does it arrive assembled?
No. The chair ships flat-packed in one carton and is assembled at home. Allow two people.
How much is delivery?
It depends on your postcode and is shown at checkout before payment. Add the chair to your cart and enter your address to see it.
What if it arrives damaged or develops a fault?
Contact us. Under the Australian Consumer Law we repair, replace or refund depending on the failure, and we arrange and pay for the return of a faulty chair.
Details to confirm before ordering
